Very busy! No open courts. A nice amount of shade on a hot day.

+$500K in taxes for courts and lights to close at 8pm. 🤡 Don’t bother playing on weekdays. Karen’s on patrol. Regarding the “noise” from pickleball - Durham doesn’t seem to have a problem with a train horn going off at 3 am nightly 50 feet from my residence.

Visiting my Durham family, I discovered these courts within walking distance (by going through the dog park) on a Sunday morning. The courts were almost full and I found the play level to be at least 3.5. Had some very close games with friendly folks. Another reviewer said nobody here but beginners... not true in my experience. The courts are in great shape. The only minor design flaw is that there is no fence between some of the courts, so there may be a few disruptions, but not to the point of taking the fun out of the game. In two games, only had one or two interruptions. I'm going to go back on this morning (Monday) to see if there is a regular group of retired folks.

Love these pickleball courts. They are very nice and there are a lot of courts to play on. There's always someone to play with if you go for open play. They close at 8pm to keep the noise down for the neighbors.
